Uraian Tugas

This important role within the Contracting Department at Asian Trails Indonesia is to develop and maintain relationships and negotiate with hotels and resorts to ensure the company receives the best rates, conditions, and service. It includes oversight of the contracting process, contract negotiations, document management, and clear communication with the data-loading team.

On the other side, classic B2B yield management skills will also be important to support your responsibility for analyzing market trends and sales strategies while monitoring competitor performance to enable effective yield management, especially for hotel or resort bookings. You ensure product availability and that margins are maximized at all times. Liaising with sales departments you will identify and drive occupancy with our hotel partners.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Negotiate yearly and promotional contract rates with key accommodation providers
  • Develop relationships with new accommodation providers
  • Update information about price, promotions, allotments, and stop-sale conditions from suppliers to related departments
  • Cooperate closely with the contracting, loading, product, and inbound teams;
  • Utilise rate comparison reports to identify and react to pricing opportunities within the business
  • Competitor pricing and seasonal rate positioning
  • Consulting third-party intermediaries to gain maximum exposure and revenue
  • Set and update rate strategy per market segment 
  • Support Contracting Department on Contracting Strategy plan and implementation
  • Participate actively in local networking

Qualifications

  • Indonesian nationals
  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism and/or related working experience
  • Prior experience in directly managing tourism B2B digital marketing with a focus on yield management
  • Fluency in English and a good command of other European languages would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and commercial in their approach, with effective problem-solving aptitude
  • Strategic thinker with strong market knowledge
  • Attention to detail, ability to translate data into understandable & actionable information 
  • Able to present and influence at the board level
  • Dynamic and motivating with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines
  • Proactive and creative mentality with curiosity and desire to learn
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proficient computer and system skills
  • Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally 
  • A high degree of flexibility
  • A “Can Do” attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset
