An Expediter/Cook 2 is the liaison between the line cooks and the servers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the food orders are complete and taken from the line to the guest in a timely manner. Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and detailed oriented qualities are necessary for this position.
An Expediter/Cook 2 requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have fine dining restaurant cooking experience and a culinary degree. An Expediter/Cook 2 should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Expediter/Cook 2 will work the Expediter station in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training.
