Join us for this incredible opportunity at Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The Cook II – Pastry will check quality of finished food products, utilize proper knife skills, and ensure efficient preparation methods and procedures on a daily basis. Candidate should have professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures, and should be able to work single-stations in the kitchen. Additional responsibilities include preparing daily specials, checking the quality of finished food products, ensuring efficient preparation methods and procedures on a daily basis, receiving products from the storeroom, and supporting Cook 1’s training and development. Work-life balance

·       At least 2 years of experience with working in all kitchens, such as the cold kitchen, restaurants, banquets, and the butcher area

·       Pastry experience preferred

·       Hotel cooking experience and/or culinary degree

·       Good communication skills

·       Ability to stand for long periods of time

·       A high motivation level, commitment, meeting challenges, and the desire to reach and achieve higher positions
