- Conduct comprehensive analysis to support investment and divestment decisions within investment grade and high-yield portfolios.
- Perform rigorous security selection processes, considering factors such as creditworthiness, risk, and return potential.
- Conduct sector analysis to identify opportunities and risks, providing informed opinions to enhance portfolio performance.
- Evaluate ESG factors within the investment process, integrating sustainable investing principles into decision-making.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other stakeholders to communicate credit opinions effectively.
- Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting fixed-income markets.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of analytical models, methodologies, and tools used for credit analysis.
- Prepare and present insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
- Uphold compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and best practices in credit analysis and portfolio management.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through professional development activities and ongoing learning initiatives.
Profile
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics is preferred to provide a strong foundation for the role.
- WPPE/WPEE/WMI or CFA Charter holder or candidate is considered advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise in investment management.
- Prior experience in investing, credit analysis, or related disciplines such as accounting, banking, or financial modeling is strongly preferred. This background equips candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective performance in the role.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in credit processing and analyst positions within insurance companies, asset managers, or banks. This ensures a depth of understanding and proficiency in credit analysis processes and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of accounting and finance principles, enabling them to analyze financial statements effectively. This includes understanding key financial metrics, ratios, and their implications for credit assessment.
