Customer Development Manager - Food Service Medan

About the position

Maintain relationships with existing customers, get new customers (especially operators), supervise, develop and control the implementation of daily/periodic work activities of all teams under it (if any) including the distributor sales team to achieve success according to predetermined measures/performance, so that the sales target for the area under his responsibility is achieved smoothly and sustainably. 

1. Understanding of CDM's scope of work which includes:
a. Product knowledge
b. Sales systems and management
c. Task area
d. Sales targets that must be achieved
e. Supervisory functions and related departmental organization.

2. Coordinate, supervise and direct the daily and weekly implementation of the duties of each SDT (Salesman Distributor) so that sales targets are achieved smoothly and continuously.

3. Create a work priority scale and weekly and monthly task completion schedule:
a. Sales prediction (SS) for each SDT.
b. Planning visits to customers (Call Plan) and Joint Visits with the distributor team.
c. Weekly report to Head of FS (call plan, actual plan, NOO, Sales Achievement, etc.).

4. Do:
a. Update data on all customers, market potential and competitor activity in their work areas to reposition new market mapping at the end of each quarter for each Salesman's work area.
b. Supervise and correct SDT weekly work planning.
c. Early handling of problems that arise in the field appropriately and providing direction and examples of effective problem solving solutions including going to the field together. If it still cannot be resolved completely, you must immediately report it to your superior (Head of FS) to be given suggestions, solutions and assistance to your direct superior and related departments within the company in order to maintain/increase the market share that has been/will be achieved.

5. Search:
a. Identify problems in the market / potential old customers, but no longer buy from the company to look for tactical solutions, strategies to approach returning / winning customers back.
b. An effective approach to handling potential customers who are not covered by Distributor Salesmen.
c. Market opportunities that are still untouched (white space), plan appropriate follow-up actions and increase existing market share creatively and innovatively.

6. Hold well-planned, effective and ongoing weekly meetings with the distributor team.
