We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER to join our dynamic team. As a CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, along with hands-on experience in implementing robust security measures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Security Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Ensure the continuous monitoring and maintenance of security devices to detect and respond to security incidents proactively.
• Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing:
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
• Incident Response and Forensics:
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security incidents promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Security Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and participate in audits as needed.
• Security Awareness and Training:
  • Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees and ensure a strong security culture within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to keep the team informed and educated.
• Security Architecture Review:
  • Collaborate with the architecture and development teams to review and enhance the security architecture of applications, systems, and networks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall, Checkpoint firewall and Trellix EDR
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
• Certifications such as CCNE, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
