Job Description:Develop the Data Protection related policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and the evolving risk profile of the organization.
Undertake research of international Data Protection requirements
Proactively maintain, update and operate procedures in support of the Data Protection Policy and associated Group Data Protection Standards
Draft Data Protection communications for the business
Stay abreast of developments in Data Protection practice and law
Support the delivery of business-focussed Data Protection awareness sessions
Own and respond to business queries on Data Protection policies and standards
A graduate ideally holds a Law degree, legal qualification or equivalent.
Able to work independently and proactively
Good knowledge of GDPR and International Data Protection requirements
Good knowledge of Data Protection methods, practices and regulations.
Good knowledge of information technology, information and/ or cyber security methods, practices and regulations desirable
Good influencing, negotiating, planning, organizing and analysis skills
Good analytical skills, including the ability to assess risk and impact from a privacy and Data Protection perspective
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to interact within team environment critical
Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales imposed by legislation and business need
