Devops Engineer

About the Role

A DevOps Engineer works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace.

DevOps (ORCHESTRATION AND AUTOMATION ENGINEER)

What will you be doing?

* Manage infrastructure using CI/CD process and automation tools such as Jenkins
* Build a script to automate operational and deployment process use programming language like Python or Go
* Deploying, automating, maintaining, building, and managing Cloud-based production systems.
* Develop and integrate monitoring, logging, dashboard, and alert systems to quickly and proactively prevent or detect errors
* Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of Infrastructure.
* Within a cross-functional team, collaborate with other engineers, as well as product design and ideation

What do we look for?

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
* Strong understanding of Operating System ( Linux )
* Experience with Monitoring Tools like Grafana/Prometheus, DataDog, or New Relic
* Experience in using Versioning Control tools
* Experience with Go, Python, & Bash
* Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and Automation like Ansible or Terraform
* Passion for learning, strong sense of ownership, and eagerness to continuously make things better
* Understanding of ECS / Kubernetes and container technologies like Dockers

DevOps (PLATFORM ENGINEER)

What will you be doing?

* Be responsible for the readiness and stability of our systems
* Create and maintain cloud-based infrastructure
* Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments
* Coach and guide more junior DevOps engineers on your team
* Develop and provide documentation on procedures
* Implement Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform
* Help automate operations and processes
* Provide on-call support and monitor the production environment on a rotational basis (the team provides support 24/7)

What do we look for?

* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
* At least 3 years of experience using ECS docker / Kubernetes
* Experience using CI/CD concepts
* Experience with cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
* Experience in Ruby, Golang and Grafana
* Ability to work odd hours in order to maintain our system’s health 24/7
* Strong communication skills in order to collaborate effectively with engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds and priorities
