Devops Engineer

Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, automation tools, and processes. You will work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of applications.
• Collaborate with software developers to automate and streamline the build, deployment, and release processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance and the implementation of necessary security controls.
• Assist with capacity planning and scaling of resources to handle increasing workloads.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support for production issues or incidents.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps methodologies and technologies.
• Develop tools/systems to help simplify development workflows

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as DevOps or Sys Administrator
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based environments and command-line tools.
• Experience with source code version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies: Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge in programming language such as Golang is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
