The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial functions in the hotel and works closely with the General Manager, Ownership, and Corporate office to ensure accurate reports are submitted on time, including general ledger reconciliation, monthly and quarterly sales tax filings, timely monthly financials, balance sheet analysis, year-end closings, and budgets. The Director of Finance will create and instill policy, procedure, and internal financial controls and compliance. The Director of Finance leads the Finance Department while working with their property management team to identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize revenues, reduce expenses, and achieve (if not exceed) business goals consistent with the standards and expectations of the Company and Owners. They will ensure internal controls are compliant with all local and international financial regulations, and safeguard company assets and investments.
