Distribution Center Supervisor  

Job Description

1. Supervision

• Ensures the standard procedures on receiving and releasing of merchandise are smoothly practiced.
• Ensures that manpower, operating expenses and maintenance cost are within the given budget.
• Monitors production reports regularly.

1. Production

• Monitors the performance of regular receiving personnel, both regular and agency.
• Monitors employee’s level of efficiency and effectivity at all times.

1. Safety

• Ensures that after office all electrical loads in the center are properly maintained.
• Ensures that tools and equipments like lifter, pallet, and ventilation are properly maintained.
• Ensures that all keys in receiving area are turned-over to the in-charge for safekeeping.

4. Others

• Performs PO adjustment based on adjustment form due wrong posting and encoding of quantity.
• Coordinates with the DMM about discrepancies encountered during received of merchandise.
• Prepares and evaluates monthly report of Distribution Center consolidated operating expenses.
• Evaluates DC’s office supplies quantity for each area for preparation of Requisition Slip (RS) and Purchase Order.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Others, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Marikina.
