We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Engine Room Operator to join our clients dynamic team on board our FPSO. As an Engine Room Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Engine Room, ensuring the reliability of propulsion and power generation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate main engines, auxiliary equipment, and power generation systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of Engine Room machinery.
- Respond promptly to any technical issues and troubleshoot as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engine Room Operator on FPSO vessels.
- Relevant certifications and licenses in marine engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Engine Room systems, machinery, and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
