MAKE AN IMPACT
At SPM Oil & Gas Batam, we manufacture surface wellheads and Xmas tree equipment’s used in exploring, extracting, and producing petroleum that makes a better world.
As an intern student in SPM Oil & Gas, you will have the opportunity to gain practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience in Mechanical Engineering field.
Eligibility Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering undergraduate students
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75/4.0 (no rounding).
Proficient in MS office (such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint), AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Good written and verbal English communication skills to communicate with all levels of external and internal personnel.
Must be legally authorized to undergo internship in Batam and does not, require sponsorship of employment visa status and/or relocation, immediately or in the near future.
What will you do during your internship with SPM:
Responsibilities of the intern are across functional lines. The intern may be assigned a combination of responsibilities in performing engineering design and calculations, drawings creation, organization of design reviews, and basic project management. Excellent communication skill is needed as the intern is required to communicate with end users and internal customers.
Learn about Surface Wellhead Products and ancillary equipment.
Learn Oil & Gas related Engineering processes.
Perform basic engineering design verification such as calculations for different wellhead products.
Perform basic engineering design validation such as stack-up tests for different wellhead products.
Participate in Engineering design meetings and training courses.

Relocation is not available for internship, if you are interested and willing to relocate independently, please continue your application.
Internship schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
Internship location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau.
You will experience intern both in an office and shop-floor environment.
