Environment Officer

PT Baramutiara Prima ( a subsidiary of Gunung Sewu Group ) is a coal mining company with 3rd generation Coal Contract of Work (CCoW/PKP2B) located in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra Province, with head office is in Sequis Tower, Jakarta.

To Support our growth, we're currently looking for :

Environment Officer 

Responsibilities :

• Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the Environmental Management System to ensure the safe and efficient operation in compliance and beyond with existing permits, licenses and other regulatory requirements (e.g: PROPER).
• Supervise the implementation and completion of objective, target and programs, date management, environmental accident management management and support internal dan external reporting.
• Identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with project and site activities.
• Coordinate environment monitoring and data collection.
• Develop working relationship with all site based departments to instill a culture of environmental awareness.

Requirements :

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering (S1) or relevant.
• Min. 2 years experience in Environment Management in Mining Industries.
• Environment management certified would be an advantage.
• Experienced in environment management aspect, reporting and compliance.
• Strong analytical skill, high attention to detail, fast learner and positive attitudes.
• Fluent in English (both written and oral)
• Good team work, has high initiative & work motivation.
• Details and results oriented with the ability to multi task, and adhere to deadlines.
• Willing to be placed in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra.
