Equipment Engineer Supervisor

As an Equipment Engineer Supervisor supporting the Engineering Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Responsible for providing technical support and continuous improvement in the Equipment Engineering/maintenance and ensuring the successful operation of manufacturing, safety, productivity, validation, and team goals/targets are met while in compliance to company implemented policy (internal/global Alcon quality procedure, HSE, DI, GDP, SOP, and 5S)

• Responsible for all machine PM execution and machine performance. Equipment Engineering, to coordinate with related departments to ensure all of PM can be executed as per the schedule plan with very minimum impact on productivity. Review all of PM procedures and effectiveness and efficiency

• Administer Equipment Engineering

  • Ensure proper on-site installations

  • Take charge of routine servicing teams and repair Teams

  • Assist in planning and tracking all maintenance works

  • Investigate root causes of equipment failures

• Manage Equipment Capabilities

  • Manage equipment monitoring relates to DT trending and performance

  • Implement solutions for equipment capability and monitoring

  • Manage all Preventive Maintenance should be executed as per scheduled plan with minimum impact on productivity and PM effectiveness

  • Adopt new technologies to improve the equipment system

• Confirm to management requirements

  • Enforce good safety /HSE culture and Maintenance practices

  • Maintain quality assurance systems related to equipment

  • Monitor Machines / Equipment performance data to establish good control parameter

  • Conduct technical presentations

• Contribute to Continuous Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement projects

  • Lead working level community to explore opportunities for improvement project

• Influence Organization Development

  • Provide guidance to other

  • Develop a training program for staff

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in Engineering or relevant field

• At least 2 years of experience working in semi / full automated industrial environment as an Engineer

• Proficient in communicating in English both verbally and written

• Experience on Automation Process Control, Automation Systems Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Failure Analysis, Hazards and Risk Control and Policy Management and Troubleshooting (Service and Repair)

• Experience in working with the contractor and external vendor will be an advantage

• Knowledge in Microsoft office Word, Power Point, Excel, Basic Minitab, Data Trending.
