Job Description

The Ethics and Compliance Manager is an essential position within the Legal Department that serve the whole Traveloka Group. He/she will support the Company's business and objectives by being responsible for the Ethics and Compliance programs, projects and initiatives, which includes the establishment of policies, communication and education and investigation of matters.

He/she will be exposed to all Countries in the Region where Traveloka operates including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and India and will be required to have interaction with the most senior members of the management in the Company.

This position is part of the Legal Compliance team and will be reporting to the Head of Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs. This position will be based in BSD, Tangerang Office.

Requirements

The Ethics and Compliance Manager will have a strategic role within the Legal Department and in the Company as it has unique position with exposure to legal, ethics, compliance, regulatory, risk, government relation and business matters and should be able to advise all business units. The person will need to:

(i) Draft and review policies, procedures and guidelines including Code of Conduct;

(ii) Establish or make improvement to the structure of Ethics Committees and draft and review charters of Ethics and other Committees;

(iii) Provide advise to the Business Units on Legal, regulatory and in particular ethical conduct and Compliance matters;

(iv) Perform end-to-end investigations on potential violations, cases, complaints and prepare comprehensive report for the Senior Management;

(v) Manage and improve gifts and entertainment reporting infrastructures;

(vi) Lead and organize trainings, communication and socialization of Code of Conducts and relevant policies;

(vii) Handle and organize the whistleblowing channels and to respond to the submission made in timely manner;

(viii) Contribute to the risk assessment and provide legal, compliance and regulatory advise to the Business Units;

(ix) Work closely with fellow Legal Counsels and other stakeholders from various level of seniorities; and

(x) Be able to advise and communicate matters to the most Senior Management properly and in clear manner.

Qualifications:

- Have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Law;

- Minimum of 8 years experience in the Legal or Compliance field with at least 3 years handling Ethics, Code of Conduct, or compliance related;

- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must;

- Experience in conducting (compliance) investigations;

- Experience working in a Company or as in-house Counsel is a plus;

- Certification in Ethics, Compliance or Risk matters is a plus;

- Ability to work in a fast and very dynamic work environment;

- Strong sense of risk identification and fast to propose quality mitigation effort;

- Willingness to handle multiple tasks and to meet strict deadlines;

- Have a prosocial approach and easily adapting to different stakeholders profile;

- Punctual, discipline and able to organize priorities; and

- Willing to work from office 5 days a week in BSD, Tangerang area
