Job Description - EXPO Project Officer
ASEC is recruiting a Project Officer to support their program implementation for Expo2025 Osaka, Japan. The Project Officer will assist in managing, coordinating, and implementing the Expo2025 project, including various duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the Director for Community Affairs Directorate (CMAD) and assisting in co-managing, coordinating, and implementing the Expo2025 project.• Ensuring timely implementation of activities by liaising with relevant stakeholders and partners.• Monitoring the ASEC Pavilion's timeline and supporting customs clearance and shipping processes.• Assisting ASEC representatives in logistics and travel arrangements, promoting Expo2025 on social media, and providing regular updates on the progress.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, International Relations, or other relevant fields with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.• Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects/events and working with diplomatic/high-level officials.• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly. Knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.• Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of negotiation processes, and strategic thinking abilities.• Familiarity with digital/social media and online knowledge management tools, as well as international and regional issues and ASEAN ideals.
