Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Export & Import Supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of export and import operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient management of resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize export and import processes
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the export and import department
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and government agencies
- Monitor and analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Prepare and submit required documentation for international shipments
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manage and track inventory levels to ensure availability of products
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for export and import processes
- Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export and import operations
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
- Experience with logistics and transportation management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and export/import software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
