Position Overview
To produce a consistent and high quality product in the assigned Place of Work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with the Capella Ubud Standards Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
The Role
- To produce a consistent and high quality product, provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Capella Ubud Standards of Performance.
- To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set.
- To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Kitchen Division or any other Department of the hotel as assigned.
- To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
- To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by Chef.
- Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in chillers, and all storage area.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Hotel's policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
Talent Profile :
- An active student that enrolled in a College or University preferably in Hotel / Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or equivalent program
- Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating strong guest relations
- Basic command in spoken and written English.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Possess a great communication skill
- Good conflict resolution skills with decision making and judgmental skills
- Flexible regarding work schedules
- Strong email etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software : Word, Excel, and Power Point
