Qualifications & experience
- Diploma degree in Nursing
- Hold professionalism certificate to be a paramedic (registered license)
- experience in the HSE administration of vessel and processes ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- having BLS / BTLS Certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in the same field
- Possessing strong communication skills, physical fitness and the ability to handle stressful situations
Tasks & responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and radio transmissions.
- Assess the patient at the scene and make an initial diagnosis.
- Provide emergency medical care, including administration of drugs, pain relievers, intravenous infusions, and wound dressings/injuries.
- Able to use special equipment, such as ventilators and defibrillators, when needed.
- Transporting patients to the emergency department of a health facility, such as a hospital.
- Monitor and treat patients in transit.
- Communicate with medical staff in health facilities to provide patient information, including medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Write and submit accurate incident and patient reports.
- Ensure the availability of medicines and medical equipment.
