Field Piping Engineer - Epc (B-104893)

About The Company:

• The working venue is in North Jakarta.
• Our client is a Japanese EPCcompany. Currently, they are looking for Field Piping Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support activities of Construction Manager (CM) to co-work with subcontractors & execute supervision of installation work based on instruction from CM.
• Supervise & inspection subcontractor’s work of piping pre-fabrication and piping installation activities.
• Monitoring and reporting of status of drawing, material, labors and construction equipment.
• Monitor, record & ensure the construction work is executed with the latest IFC (Issued for construction) drawing and field change included.
• Feedback the actual site condition and gap of design drawing to Design Team.
• Monitor work sequence and workmanship of subcontractor’s site work.
• Support subcontractor’s activities such as test and inspection based on quality requirement.
• Coordinate and arrange test and inspection for client/company witness.
• Issued NCR to subcontractor against the non-conformance products, then handle NCR from client. (receiving, clarification, status monitoring, and closing).
• Prepare and maintain the punch list and dispatch to subcontractors to rectify and close punch items.
• Support and co-work with HSE to maintain the working area and site in safe condition, support & advise subcontractor for heavy lift and critical lifting activities.
• Monitor and support subcontractor’s site material control activities.
• Supervise & execute inventory check and other necessary of subcontractor’s activities for equipment and material preservation.
• Monitoring daily progress, evaluate & analysis of progress from subcontractors.
• Calculate work progress based on main contract.
• Analysis of work progress and feedback to work plan and schedule.
• Estimate the change of BOQ.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Hold Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Material Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 5 years experience as Field Piping Engineer.
• No barrier for communicating in English (verbal, writing & reading).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (or other CAD software like SolidWorks, etc.)
• Excellent communication skill.
• Have excellent skill of analysis, communication, problem solving.
• Has good initiative and teamwork.

• Involved in Wastewater Treatment projects.
• Experience in EPC industry.
• Japanese skill.
• Have professional certification in piping field.
