Job Purpose The purpose of the Field Service Engineer is to maintain the agreed service levels for IT requests, deliver high value support to customers and VIP's according to agreed process, monitor and report on local IT inventory, incident trends, formalize documentation, supporting the local business with a strong focus on on-site support facilitating uninterrupted manufacturing/production Job Description
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, peripherals (local and network printers, scanners), and other end user equipment, including mobility devices
  • Responding to telephone calls, email, service tickets, and dispatched requests for technical support
  • Acting as smart hands for Server, Storage, Backup Network equipment and IT end points
  • Consulting and instructing users on hardware and software questions/issues
  • Providing assistance with office moves (moving and set-up of IT equipment)
  • Performing all other necessary tasks related to IT support of the local and regionally supported locations
Supports APAC stakeholders by project basis You are meant for this job if:
  • Minimum Diploma background
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the related field
  • Good knowledge of IT procedures and standards
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Service/Customer orientation
  • Communication skills
  • Required to travel within APAC regions (by project basis)
  • Basic knowledge on Service Now
