- Develop comparison report budget vs actual and any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets
- Tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and review all strategic SOP and Policy related Finance and Accounting that work to minimize financial risk
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations to increasing budget efficiency
Ensure that the monthly accounts and periodic management reports are prepared accurately and submitted on a timely basis- Maintain full set of accounts including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions which includes all account reconciliations for shared services entity.
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements for filing
- Liaise and build positive working relationship with external consultants, auditors, tax agent and bankers
- Proactively monitor, assess, report and ensure effective controls over financial and business risk
- Work closely with front line business managers and provide technical expertise on financial and commercial matters
- Co-lead the implementation of accounting system migration when required
- Manage year-end closing procedures (e.g. Stock taking, cut off, etc.) to ensure timely preparation of Audited Accounts
- Preparation of year-end tax schedules for income tax reporting
- Possess Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- Analytical mind and thinking
- Negotiation skills and abilities to develop strong working relationships
- Commercial and business awareness
- Detail-oriented and desire to probe further into data
- Ability to stick to time constraints
