Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support effective financial management.
- Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review.- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Train and mentor accounting staff to develop their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., ACURATE) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
