This is a regional role covering Singapore and Indonesia
What you will do :
- Supporting the month end closing including the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
- Full cycle of AR - working with business development team in obtaining pre-invoicing requirements, coordination with account manager on subsequent stages of invoicing, working with clients to ensure that documentations and receipts are received timely.
- Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
- Support in preparation of weekly cash flow statements
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Supporting audits
- Tax Preparation & Reporting for Indonesia
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Identify inefficiencies of processes and propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows for increased productivity.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Staying abreast of changes in accounting regulations and various tools.
Who you are :
- Degree in accounting or ACCA qualification
- Familiarity with Xero or other accounting tools
- 3 to 5 years experience in accounting & finance operation in well established SME or audit experience in reputable firms
- A strong foundation in end to end accounting - will be able to handle full scope of accounting when your colleagues are on leave.
- Ability to manage workload independently, meet deadlines and multi task
- Accurate in deliverables requiring minimum review by line manager.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and speaking in English and Indonesian - as you will be communicating with clients and senior management.
