Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to join Labamu as a Finance Manager (FM) based in Indonesia reporting into the Head of Finance. To help the growing scale and complexity of Labamu’s business and to support future finance reporting requirements, Labamu requires an individual who is responsible for :
- Providing overall finance business support for Labamu’s business portfolio
- Financial reporting matters including but not limited to
oMonthly / Quarterly / Annual financial reporting
oManagement reporting for Labamu and SCB’s requirements and the underlying businesses
oFinancial & management pack preparation for management business reviews, CFO decks, investor relations decks and any other ad hoc requests
oReporting requirements from various other stakeholders such as Finance, Tax, Treasury, Governmental authorities etc.
- Planning & budgeting, performance analysis and all corporate reporting activities for Labamu
- Set up of venture businesses within the SCB’s Finance systems and assisting with Labamu’s operationalisation, including integration of third-party providers.
- Review of monthly actuals and expected forecasts.
- Support Labamu’s management team with a wide variety of BAU and ad-hoc finance related activities
- Finance data maintenance for Labamu’s reporting across both internal and external parties.
- Liaising with Labamu’s stakeholders on ad hoc queries, including business model creation and review and liaising with tax
- Market and competitor analysis and well as detailed accounting policy research / technical financial research.
Skills / Expertise
- Risk and control mindset with regards to undertaking activities and attention to detail
- 3 years of audit or finance experience in a professional services firm or commercial environment
- Focused not only on financials but also on operational, strategic and commercial issues.
- Innovative explore innovative ways to manage the associated risks and complexities within SC Ventures
- Well-organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker with strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
- Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
- Qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA / MBA
- Proficient in Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentations
- Experience in Peoplesoft, Hyperion, SAP, Clarity, iLevel and Kushim advantageous
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous

About SC Ventures
SC Ventures ( SCV ) was established in 2018 with the purpose of Rewiring the DNA in Banking by bringing three distinct areas together :
- The eXellerator Lab , enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech’s through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas
- The Investment Fund ( Fund ), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies ( fintechs ) whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group
- Venture building , with the objective of exploring new business models ( ventures ), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets.
There are team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group’s support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco.
