- Manage all aspects of the accounting operations and ensure they are compliant with Indonesian regulations, whilst creating maximum internal growth (includes any and all businesses associated with Republic Destinations Management Indonesia - RDMI)
- Report, monthly and as required, on the state of the accounts and business health of RDMI and any associated business units.
- Ensure all reports are completed on time, including tax or other local submissions
- Keep soft and hard copies of all reports and payments.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, snapshots as required to ensure we are on track to meet our goals and if we are not, that we are fully aware of it.
- Ensure we are up to date with any and all new tax compliance
- Review our current practises and improve them as you can, reducing work loads by implementing smarter business and accounting practises.
- We are reducing systems to be as simple as possible that cover the accounting requirements.
- Grow the accounting department of RDMI to match any business requirements, developing your team to ensure their ongoing individual growth – as well as the growth of RDMI.
- Actively engage with and communicate with our 3rd party tax consultants.
- Be active in the business operations of RDMI, voice/raise any concerns (in the appropriate conditions) – be an active member of the family.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
- We are looking at this role to progress into the Director of Finance Role as the company and the role grows.
Requirements:
- High level of Integrity
- Can speak and communicate in English.
- Lives in Bali, within an easy commute to Seminyak.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a reputable university
- 2-5 years of finance/accounting experience in 1 company required
- Proficiency in Accounting Software (Jurnal), Microsoft Office especially in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
