Fleet Assistant

Job Description:
 

• Supervise the day-to-day activates of fleet and driver/operators including product dispatch, equipment optimization, revenue and personnel issues.
• Work closely with the Workshop Lead on repair and maintenance of the fleet as well as ensuring legal documents are up to date to comply with company and government regulations.
• Lead regulatory safety and compliance activities, including driver/operator orientation, compliance reporting, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
• Oversee personnel that analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, preferably in transportation technical or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of related work experience in Fleet Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain/Transport 
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience 

Additional experience in defensive driving skill will be an added advantage
