Job Description:
- Supervise the day-to-day activates of fleet and driver/operators including product dispatch, equipment optimization, revenue and personnel issues.
- Work closely with the Workshop Lead on repair and maintenance of the fleet as well as ensuring legal documents are up to date to comply with company and government regulations.
- Lead regulatory safety and compliance activities, including driver/operator orientation, compliance reporting, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
- Oversee personnel that analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, preferably in transportation technical or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of related work experience in Fleet Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain/Transport
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience
Additional experience in defensive driving skill will be an added advantage
