Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Educator at Australian Intercultural School located in Batam. The Educator will be responsible for lesson planning, education, communication, teaching, and training. The role involves supporting student learning and development, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback.

Preschool Teacher

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and adaptability
• Prior (2-years) teaching experience is a plus

Secondary Science Teacher

Requirements:

• A graduate from a reputable university with a minimum Bachelor Degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Bachelor Degree in Education major in Science.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching Combined Science to students in the secondary (Year 7 to Year 10) preferably in an International or National Plus School setting.
• Knowledge and experience in handling laboratory experiments and scientific investigations.
• Strong command of the English language with excellent speaking and writing skills with a strong capacity and confidence to deliver the lesson in English.
• Possesses strong classroom management skills with a high degree of responsibility towards teaching as well as students academic progress.
• Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural educational environment.
• Familiar with the inquiry-based teaching and learning process and capable of using various teaching strategies and approaches.
• Proficient in using Microsoft products, applications and services and is able to use technology efficiently for educational purposes.
• Willing to improve and learn continuously through mentoring, training, and collaborations.
