Avarik Saga is currently hiring a Game Designer to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the dynamic world of blockchain, crypto, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and gaming with one of Indonesia’s most successful blockchain companies. 

Avarik Saga sold out their NFT collection in 1 hour in September 2021 for US$3M+, and is one of four Southeast Asia projects who can lay claim to this achievement. This will be a full-time role, and is open to candidates based in Indonesia. The team works remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Generate ideas for new games and pitch concepts.
• Build and iterate on core gameplay systems.
• Collaborate with other relevant teams to bring features to life and up to a high standard.
• Create and maintain design documentation for game features and iterate as required throughout production.
• Together with the Game Designers team to plan, think and design game systems, controls, interfaces, narratives, levels, or mechanics that align with design pillars to satisfy end users.
• Document the feedback from the community and work with the relevant teams to apply such input.
• Create UI mockups.
• Use wireframes and other tools to clearly define the user experience.
• Work collaboratively with the fellow Game Designers and also other Game Development team members to concept and deliver the intended experience.
  

Requirements

• If not a university fresh grad, enrollment in a school or university.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Highly passionate for RPGs games.
• Self-motivation, curiosity, and creative thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people in a dynamic environment.
• Be well organized, good at time management, and have strong attention to detail.
