Mars is in the process of a global implementation of SAP’s CFIN technology, changing the way we work in finance. Mars will deploy PaPM as the allocation technology on top of CFIN in order to deliver item and customer Cost-to-Serve Analytics.
The Global FE is part of the team responsible to deploy the global allocation model and technology that will deliver the brand and customer profitability analysis outcome of the CFIN implementation.
This role will partner with the broader CFIN reporting team to ensure consistent and relevant allocations that will drive investment decisions across the organization. What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent in work experience
- Min 7 years of finance / accounting experience in CPG
- Strong functional finance skills particularly in the area of brand and customer analytics
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Alteryx / Tableau / PowerBI
- Finance experience in SAP R3 and / or S4 Hana
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology
- Ability to present to small groups
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Utilizing SAP's PaPM solution and in partnership with other Mars resources, deploy and maintain global allocation models that will be used to measure the profitability of our units, channels, and brands
- Provide coaching to local business teams on PaPM principles and advise around local actions to be taken in order to ensure PaPM readiness
- Partner with local business teams to review allocation effectiveness and provide recommendations around process and data improvements that will drive desired outcomes
- Model allocation concepts using Alteryx and Excel to simulate scenarios and options prior to building and deployment in PaPM
- Leverage Alteryx and Excel models to validate outcomes from PaPM and ensure models are delivering expected results
- Propose solutions that will maximize the benefits of CFIN data while recognizing data gaps and needs and proposing feasible options and solutions
- Identify potential data anomalies and build contingencies to address
