Job Description
Graduate Controls Engineer
We are looking for a Controls engineer who want to support our offshore adventures and join our Asset Integrity & Production Management team at Ågotnes, Bergen.
You will be part of a project team actively following up the performance of installed systems with respect to condition and performance with focus on subsea and topside control systems.
You will actively follow up and support online production control systems and support offshore jobs / campaigns and be trained to do product support in aftermarket related to topside controls equipment.
Introduction to the Job
- Technical support for offshore operations with multidiscipline teams
- Actively follow up and maintain online Condition and Performance Monitoring Systems with focus on giving advice to Customers within Controls subject matter
- Contribute in subsea engineering, workshop testing and offshore implementation work
- Product support related to software configuration and HMI
- Preparations of procedures, specifications, drawings for offshore operations
- Initiate and follow up actions and changes as required during project execution
- 1st line support to customers and internal clients for troubleshooting and advice in operational modus for Control systems
You are meant for this job if :
You are a Graduate in Engineering within electro, automation, IT, process control
Interest or knowledge of subsea and topside control systems, hydraulic and / or electrical systems
- Interest or knowledge, or practical experience from offshore operations / workshops and / or subsea processing systems
- Interest knowledge, or experience working both as part of a team and independently
- Interest, knowledge or experience with virtual systems, IT networks and communication protocols
- Interest, knowledge or work experience within operation of oil & gas fields
- Interest knowledge or experience in software tools
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship
