About us

Bambu Indah is a tiny luxurious boutique hotel encapsulating old school Bali; peaceful, laidback and in harmony with nature. Tamarind, cinnamon, palm and bayan trees cascade down steep jungle slopes to an enchanting river with natural swimming pools fed by dancing waterfalls. In 2005 they installed eleven antique Javanese bridal homes collected on their travels on a jungle cliff top overlooking padi fields, inviting first their friends to stay and then turning it into a hotel. Since then, they have evolved with ecological mindfulness to expand Bambu Indah down to the river, building a range of spectacular and utterly original buildings all made from their signature material, bamboo. Today travelers come from all over the world, drawn by their dream of a regenerative world where nothing is used which cannot be composted back into the earth. This garden of Eden is their home which they share with you.

Qualifications & experience

  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management
  • Has at least 2 years experiences in the same position at 5 star hotel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests, staff, and management.
  • Guest Experience Managers must be adept at quickly identifying and resolving issues or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications such as VHP
  • Experience in training and developing staff to deliver exceptional service standards

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after their visit. This may involve addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Training and supervising staff members to ensure that they deliver high-quality service to guests.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests by anticipating their needs, providing personalized recommendations and assistance, and ensuring that their requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring the quality of services and facilities to ensure that they meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during a guest's visit, such as billing discrepancies, room maintenance issues, or dissatisfaction with services.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the Guest Experience and increase revenue through upselling of additional services, amenities, or upgrades.
  • Coordinating special events, celebrations, or conferences hosted by the establishment, ensuring that all aspects of the Guest Experience are well-organized and executed smoothly.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to guest services, such as health and safety guidelines, data protection laws, and accessibility requirements.
