An opportunity now exists for an experienced and visionary Consultant Executive Chef to elevate Lush Kitchen's brunch and dinner menu in Canggu. The successful candidate will be retained on a contract basis for 2 weeks up until 2 months depending on the scope of work. The menu currently is a hybrid of western and mediterranean.
Key responsibilities:
- Culinary Innovation: Create new gastronomic delights as well as rework current menu items to reach their full potential.
- Recipe Documentation: Document all recipes and culinary procedures, to create a comprehensive kitchen guide.
- Training and Mentorship: Use hands-on leadership, training and coaching techniques to develop the skills of the Kitchen team to execute all recipes at a high standard.
- Food Safety: Maintain the highest levels of health, hygiene and safety practices.
What we seek:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Executive Chef in a restaurant
- Evidence of creative menu development and recipe documentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Salary: Contract Basis, Negotiable depending on Qualifications, Contract length and, scope of work. Offering 25-35jt/month based on a full time schedule.
