Job Summary:
The Head of Agency-Life will be responsible for directing and overseeing the operations of the Life agency distribution channel within the organization. This includes strategic planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and driving sales of general insurance products through a network of Life Insurance agents. The individual will ensure that the life agency distribution meets the company’s growth aspiration, as well as ensuring the infrastructure readiness to support the life agency distribution growth and business practice that is in compliant with the regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the life agency distribution channel that aligns with the company's objectives.
- Recruitment and Training: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of Life Insurance agents to integrate general insurance solution into their business and to oversee the development of internal agency sales team to ensure a high-performing sales force.
- Performance Management: Set recruitment & sales targets, monitor achievements, and implement corrective actions to address underperformance.
- Sales: Drive the sales of general insurance products through the Life Insurance agency force Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all business processes comply with industry regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of integrity and ethical sales practices.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including life agents and cross-functional internal divisions.
