Position : Head Coal Quality Control
Department : Coal Quality Control
Level : General Manager
Reporting : COO
Location : Minesite - West Kutai
Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering/Geology/Chemistry
Experience : 15 - 20 Years
Main Responsibilities :
- Checking and controlling the quality of Coal from pit to Load port. Day to day Coordination with Mining Contractor to ensure quality of Coal from Pit to ROM .
- Control all loading activities in terms of quality and quantity and ensure all is in order accordingly as per the standard and ensure coal quality meets consumer needs.
- Establishment of in-house Laboratory. Develop and maintain good connections with surveyors and trader
- Responsible for all mining inspection activities in terms of Coal quality and coal chain management Supervise the coal production and distribution process so that it complies with the standards set by the company (for example: coal storage in the stockpile area and loading and unloading activities at the port).
- Monitor laboratory test results from mining PIT, ROM, Production, Stockpile, Shipment.
Key Requirements
- Exposure with reputation in coal mining company or working with leading coal testing and analysis company as a Head of quality control.
- Knowledgeable in the operation MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in Bahasa and English both writing and speaking Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Coal loading and export documents
- Excellent knowledge in coal quality parameters and coal quality standards (ISO, ASTM, GB, etc.)
