As the Head of Finance and Performance, you will be a strategic leader responsible for managing the financial and taxation functions of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, overseeing, and reporting financial activities, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. You will work closely with the finance team to achieve the company's financial goals and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Advanced education such as a master's degree or professional certification in finance or taxation is considered a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance and taxation, with at least 3 years in managerial or leadership positions.
- Having Brevet A and B certificates.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting and tax software (ODOO).
- Experience in managing financial reports, budgets, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and auditing.
- Good understanding of relevant tax regulations and policies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including internal teams, auditors, and other external parties.
- High regard for integrity and professional ethics in carrying out financial and tax-related duties.
- Compliance with tax rules and regulations, as well as internal company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and control the use of company funds.
- Inspect and evaluate the performance and results of tasks carried out by the Finance Department staff.
- Control and oversee the department to achieve both departmental and company goals.
- Provide advice for the improvement and development of business processes in managing, organizing, and allocating company finances.
- Foster and guide all sections within the Finance Department in carrying out tasks according to company procedures.
- Develop appropriate reporting and oversight mechanisms to maximize quality and control spending accurately.
- Develop, organize, and facilitate the planning process; lead and control the consolidation of plans from all units and business functions in the financial field; evaluate and decide on plans jointly with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment of unit or business function plans with company plans and to support overall company growth.
- Develop and evaluate internal control systems and procedures to protect GSI's assets; monitor and evaluate the implementation of plans and budgets; direct and control the preparation of reliable financial reports; discuss deviations with and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors to ensure compliance with financial policies, financial procedures, and achieve effective and efficient implementation, ensuring that the company's financial policies comply with applicable accounting standards.
- Supervise cost budgeting and cash flow projections; evaluate and validate budget proposals, consolidating the overall company budget to ensure the availability of the company's annual budget to support management decisions.
- Oversee and monitor tax calculation and reporting activities to ensure all taxes are calculated and submitted to the tax office in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
- Build, maintain, and ensure harmonious relationships with banks, manage cash sources; monitor bank loan interest rates to meet daily cash flow requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely external audit reports.
- Compile company financial performance reports and provide advice to the Board for formulating company policies.
- Verify the completeness of required documents for financial transactions to comply with applicable policies and regulations, as well as validate supporting data for transactions.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members to achieve department goals and objectives, monitor the performance of each team member, and contribute to the development of each individual in the Finance team.
