Client is a holding company within financial services related space currently going through a transformation.

Job Description

Head of Learning, Corporate University and Culture will have the following key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Analyse, assess and enhance the organisation's learning and development programs and strategies to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Manage budgets for learning and development programmes to build capabilities.
  • Develop and curate a diverse range of Learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, webinars, and certifications through to delivery and execution to ensure talent development and growth are achieved.
  • Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive corporate university strategy tailored to the needs of the organization and its ecosystem.
  • Proactively collaborate with business leaders to identify key skill gaps and development needs across various functional areas within the organization.
  • Create a curriculum that encompasses a mix of technical, leadership, and soft skills training programs to minimize the gaps identified.
  • Manage the budget, resources, and technology required for effective learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define and articulate the company's core values, mission, and vision, and ensure alignment throughout the organization.
  • Drive initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive corporate culture, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs aimed at cultivating a pipeline of effective leaders within the organization and its ecosystem.
  • Mentor and coach executives and emerging leaders, providing them with the tools and insights needed to excel in their roles.
  • Measure the effectiveness of Learning and development initiatives and their impact on organizational outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate the success of the corporate university and culture initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Guide the organization through periods of change, mergers, acquisitions, or other transitions, ensuring that the corporate culture remains intact and aligned with the company's values.

The Successful Applicant

Successful Head of Learning, Corporate University and Culture will have:

  • At least 20+ years of accumulated experiences in Learning and Corporate University/Academy/Institute with a solid experience in leading end-to-end Learning including Corporate University/Academy/Institute and Culture.
  • Proven track record in full cycle of developing, enhancing and driving a successful corporate university programs and learning programs within a complex and matrix organization ecosystem.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels and dynamics.
  • Strong stakeholders management and influencing skills across all levels, upwards and downwards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational culture development and driving change management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational goals and identifying gaps into effective learning programs.
  • Agile, creative and highly familiar with various updated learning technologies and platforms.
  • Professional certifications in learning and development, leadership coaching, or related fields are a plus.
  • Understanding of financial services industry dynamics, regulations, and trends are highly preferred and advantageous.
  • Strong agility mindset, able to navigate through ambiguity through a strategic and critical thinking.
