Health Program Coordinator

The East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP) is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to help thousands of disadvantaged families in 19 remote East Bali mountain communities with education, health care, water resources, sanitation, road infrastructure, etc.

We now seek an experienced public health professional as our Health Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team in assisting disadvantaged rural communities in East Bali.

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Lead the team in implementing our Comprehensive Health Improvement program to achieve targets in accordance with organizational programs.

2.       Planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting on the programs activities.

3.       Communicate and facilitate collaboration with local government, community leaders, health centres, NGO’s partners, etc.

4.       Prepare social media posts, including writing and editing articles and selecting impactful photos.

5.       Support grant writing and grant reporting.

Requirements:

1.       Bachelor's degree (S1) in Public Health or a related health education field.

2.       Minimum 3 years of experience in leading programs and team.

3.       Ability to adapt quickly

4.       Great leadership and teamwork skills

5.       Preferably based in Bali and ready to be placed in East Bali village.

6.       Have good communication skills and be comfortable working & educating mothers, children and teenagers at the village level and also to build/maintain connection with the village govt.

7.       Close understanding of children’s malnutrition, maternal child health and other public health issues

8.       Fluent in spoken and written English

9.       Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and presentation skills.
