We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic technology team and add value to our business.
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solution.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide level 1 technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware through remote assistance software
- Respond to queries either in person or over instant messaging
- Write training manuals and related technical documentation.
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Assist in technical infrastructure expansions.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Follow up with end-users to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Able to work in flexible shifts
Requirements
- 1 year experience in Help Desk environment
- Knowledge and interest in Administering Linux Operating Systems is advantageous
- Able to communicate in English is a must
- Able to travel to Singapore over the weekend once or twice a month for supporting onsite. Allowance will be given
- Able to commit on weekends , off days & time offs will be given.
