- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as making beds, vacuuming floors, dusting, and mopping to keep rooms and common areas neat and tidy.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks, restocking toiletries and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Handle the laundering of linens, towels, and guest clothing as required, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from rooms and common areas.
- Replenish room supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels, ensuring guests have everything they need.
- Participate in scheduled deep cleaning tasks, including window washing, carpet cleaning, and furniture upholstery, to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide a friendly and professional presence, responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the management to ensure prompt repair and upkeep.
- Follow health and safety standards, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, and wearing protective gear as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in providing a high level of cleanliness.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
