Import Specialist

Job Description :

1. Coordinate import activities including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
2. Prepare and review import documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, and import licenses especially dairy iport and another food raw material. like impor quota etc
3. Understand for make a report SKI BPOM
4. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
5. Verify import documentation for accuracy and compliance with local regulations (BL, CIPL, Insurance, PIB) and advantage skill use HS code
6. Communicate with internal teams to coordinate the receipt and distribution of imported goods.
7. Stay updated on changes in import regulations and ensure compliance with customs laws and procedures.
8. Resolve any issues or delays in the import process efficiently and effectively.
9. Maintain accurate records of import activities, including shipment details, customs documents, and expenses.
10. Assist in evaluating and selecting reliable vendors and service providers for import-related activities.
11. Collaborate with other departments to streamline import processes and improve efficiency.

Requirement :

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international trade, supply chain management, or business administration.
2. Proven experience in import operations, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
3. Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements in Indonesia.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
7. Familiarity with import-related software or systems is a plus.
8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
