  As an Incoming Engineeryou are tasked to supervise Incoming Inspection area to support new Surgical project to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation following the existing SOPs, and implementation of DI/ GMP/GLP/GDP at Batam. In this role, a typical day will include:

  Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of quality assurance inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement inspection plans and procedures for incoming materials and goods.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address quality defects and discrepancies.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Production) to ensure seamless integration of quality control processes.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of quality control procedures.

• What Can You Bring to Alcon:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading and supervising a quality assurance team.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience operating a CMM machine (preferred).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
