Indonesia Controller Lead

The role is responsible to lead and drive Control (accounting) functions for Indonesia business (including food, snack, and agro). This role will also be partnering with business function for full Control and compliance governance.

• Lead Indonesia COSO Control agenda.
• Support Indonesia MU by providing timely, accurate and cost-effective financial and management reporting in accordance with local requirements and PEP policies.
• Responsible for maintaining a strong internal control environment and implementing and overseeing efficient, well-controlled financial transaction processing systems.
• Act as centre of expertise (COE) in providing effective accounting guidance on business issues and initiatives, financial accounting and controls-related matters.
• Manages the preparation and review of various external reporting requirements (e.g., statutory accounts, tax returns, payroll tax, withholding taxes, final taxes and business permits, etc) to ensure that they have been accurately prepared.
• Develop and lead the implementation of financial policies/guidelines.
• Collaborates with the Corporate Treasury on the cash mobilization plan.
• Leads, motivates and develops a team through building capability whilst ensuring activities are completed accurately and timely.

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, CA or CPA qualification; statutory accounting experience preferred.
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience with managing a team of in management and staff level.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Solid analytical/functional skills. Ability to connect the dots/see the big picture without losing sight of details.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, monitoring and coordination and budget ownership.
• MNC, FMCG experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local statutory law, local banking, system/ network, corporate financial requirements.
• Proficient in English: Listening, Speaking and writing.
• Computer literacy e.g. SAP, Concur, Blackline, HFM.
• Change management experience coupled with good analytical abilities.
