Uraian Tugas

Job Responsibilities:

  • Space Planning: Assessing the layout and functionality of interior spaces within properties to optimize flow and usability.
  • Design Development: Developing Interior Design concepts, including color schemes, materials, furnishings, and lighting, in line with the property's target market and budget.
  • Furniture and Fixture Selection: Choosing appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of interior spaces while considering durability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordination with Property Owners and Contractors: Collaborating with property owner, engineers, and contractors to ensure that Interior Design plans align with overall project goals and meet building codes and regulations.
  • Project Management: Overseeing the implementation of Interior Design plans, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control.
  • Client Communication: Interacting with property owners, developers, tenants, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, and to keep them informed about design decisions and project progress.
  • Staging and Presentation: Creating visually appealing staging for properties to enhance their marketability and appeal to potential buyers or tenants.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Estimating costs associated with Interior Design projects, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenses to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Trend Research: Staying updated on current design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative and appealing elements into Interior Design projects.
  • Sustainability Integration: Incorporating sustainable design principles and environmentally friendly materials and practices into Interior Design projects, in line with increasing demand for eco-conscious solutions in Real Estate.
  • Post-Occupancy Evaluation: Conducting evaluations of completed projects to assess their effectiveness and gather feedback for future improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining thorough documentation of design plans, specifications, contracts, and project progress reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is often required. 
  • Certifications: Obtaining certification from professional organizations such as the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) or the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) can demonstrate a high level of competency and expertise in the field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Interior Design, preferably within the Real Estate or property management industry, is highly valued. This may include internships, apprenticeships, or employment in design firms, Real Estate development companies, or property management firms.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and regulations related to Interior Design and construction is essential to ensure compliance and safety in projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite is often required. Additionally, knowledge of Interior Design principles, space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes is crucial.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills are necessary for working with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders involved in the design process. The ability to effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and requirements is key.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of design projects, is valuable in the Real Estate and property management industry.
  • Attention to Detail: Interior designers must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that every aspect of the design, from furniture placement to lighting fixtures, contributes to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding current trends, market demands, and the target demographic is important for creating designs that appeal to potential buyers or tenants in the Real Estate market.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing project requirements, client preferences, and industry trends is crucial in the dynamic environment of Real Estate and property management.
