Job Description
*Please state internship timeline*
- To develop assembly process jigs and fixtures as needed, ie PCB, lidset assembly for NPI product
- To develop & proliferate work instructions for critical features & assembly for NPI product
- To qualify SMT process relevant to PCB and SIP products
- To develop & qualify local sourcing & tooling buy off, such as Plastics & Metal components
- Mass production process/assembly engineering management: Yield/Cycle time/production efficiency CIP
- Cost saving initiative from product and process introduction
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Able to generate 2D drawing with design requirement specification, tolerances, tooling DFM, GDT, and etc.
- Added SMT process experience & knowledge is preferable
- Experience in secondary process such as pad print, silk screen, mimaki, coating, etc
- Has experience in automation project will be added advantage
- Has strong ownership and give commitment to company goals and team goals
- Self-motivated and is willing to take challenge and improvements
- Able to work under pressure and required to work over-time to meet tight project schedule
- Good teamwork and constructive problem-solving skills, Root Cause analysis
- Experience and good communication with local CM and supplier to solve issue
- Knowledge of PFMEA & Quality 6sigma tools
- Knowledge of Tolerance stack up analysis
- Knowledge of FEA simulation and tools
