ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Industrial Relations and Employee Relations Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment by effectively managing employee relations, navigating labor relations complexities, and upholding fairness and compliance within the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Operations

• Managing Industrial Peace (Corrective & Preventive Action)
• Address and resolve employee concerns effectively.
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
• Conduct thorough investigations and provide fair resolutions.
• Educate managers and employees on conflict resolution and workplace policies.
• Strategically manage labor relations, including negotiations and arbitration hearings.
• Stay current on labor laws and regulations.
• Represent the organization in labor-related matters.
• Monitor and analyze trends in industrial relations.
• Cultivate a culture of trust, open communication, and mutual respect.

Business

• Managing employee engagement and workplace communication.
• Collective bargaining & Company Regulation.
• Union-management relations.
• Labor laws, regulations, arbitration, and mediation.
• Strategic Workforce Management & Organization Pillar (IWS).

CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or any related field
• Professional experience with 3 to 5 years’ experience in Industrial Relations
• Working experience in FMCG / Manufacturing industry related is required.
• Working experience as HR Generalist is preferred.
• Knowledge in Organizational Psychology (Behavior, Motivation, Supportive & Engaging environment), Conflict Resolution, Labor Laws, Company Regulations & Collective Bargaining, Labor Arbitration and Mediation, Labor Law Compliance and Union Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and leading a big group of employees.
• Strong written and fluent verbal communication skills, incl. presentation skills
• Full proficiency in MS. Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
