Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for an IT Project Manager (Banking Project). The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a Banking Project. The IT Project Manager will ensure that project objectives are defined and communicated; risks, assumptions and dependencies are identified, and all activities are sequenced, resourced and scheduled. The role involves liaising with all stakeholders, and directing the work of project team members, such as business analysts, developers, and testers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-4 years of experience as Project Manager in Banking Industry
- Knowledge in best practice and methodologies in managing IT projects e.g., Waterfall, Agile etc. and project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and demonstrated ability to translate client requirements.
- Understanding of business systems, ability to multi-task on diverse requirements, understanding of Software development Lifecycle and techniques, and experience in the development of system documentation or training materials.
