Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Willing to be located in Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara
• English communication skills, both verbal and written. (Mandarin is a plus)·Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules.
• Ability to setup and configure servers
• Min 3 years’ of experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
• Professional qualification such as MCP, MCSE, MCSA , CCNA , CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+(added advantage).
• Administrative such as IT Procurement, filing and documentation.
• Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and well versed generate reports for project update and presentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Assist IT Manager in CAPEX and OPEX budgeting
• Knowledge in the technical systems such as (TCP/IP, Backup Technologies, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server, Print Server, jump Server Concept, Active Directory Domain and Forest, VLAN, LAN and WAN) can be useful.
• Well versed with Wi-Fi Technology and responsible toInstalling, configuring and maintaining Wi-Fi technologies for Office and Plant.
• Possess strong teamwork skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.

Job Description:

• The job involves the installation and configuration of new servers, as well as ensuring that they are appropriately set up for their intended purposes.
• Diligently monitor the performance of servers and promptly address any potential issues that may arise, such as slow response times or server crashes. Taking immediate action ensures the smooth functioning of operations and mitigates any disruptions that could arise from such incidents.
• Conduct regular hardware health checks and promptly address any issues that may arise.
• Task involves the crucial responsibility of ensuring that the software is consistently kept up to date, while also implementing essential security patches and upgrades as needed.
• Server administrators to diligently monitor server performance activity with the purpose of identifying any security threats, suspicious behavior, or other potential issues.
• Server administrators to be readily available in order to offer technical support to users and fellow IT personnel. They should be prepared to promptly address inquiries and effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
• Server administrators are also entrusted with the responsibility of effectively managing ESX and virtualized server environments. This includes various tasks like deploying virtual machines, monitoring their performance, and efficiently allocating resources as needed.
• Server administrators implement, establish and execute disaster recovery plans. The primary aim is to guarantee the successful retrieval of data in case of any catastrophic incident.
• The server administrator is responsible for ensuring and monitoring the backup procedures for data, virtual machines (VMs), and other configuration files. This includes performing backups on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Create and manage user accounts and access permissions, ensuring that users have access to the resources they need while protecting sensitive data.
• Server administrators regularly perform security system and policy audits to ensure that they are up-to-date and effective.
• Server administrators are tasked with the responsibility of managing RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and warranty claims for hardware components.
• Server administrators are tasked with the responsibility of managing SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) and perform regular backup and restoration based on user requirement.
