Qualifications & experience
- 2-5 years of experience as an Integration Architect, Integration Engineer, or similar role.
- Experienced with JavaEE / JakartaEE
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and knowledge of common Enterprise Architect and IT frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL)
- Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms, such as SotwareAG WebMethods, MuleSoft, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies, such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, ESB, iPaaS, etc.
- Proficiency in API design and management, including API security and versioning.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI).
- Experience in data modelling, data mapping, and data transformation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of integration architectures, configurations, and guidelines.
- Integration Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and IT roadmap
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather integration requirements, understanding the functional needs, data exchange, and process workflows.
- Solution Design: Design robust and scalable integration solutions using modern integration patterns and technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that integration solutions meet security standards and compliance requirements, safeguarding sensitive data during transit and at rest.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve integration performance, minimize latency, and optimize data throughput.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and logging mechanisms to proactively identify integration issues and resolve them promptly.
